ॐ Pandharpur ॐ AKA Vithoba Mandir AKA Vithal Rukhmai Mandir

Pilgrimage City on the banks of Bhima River in Solapur District , Maharastra, India.

Millions of Hindu pilgrims from all around the globe visit and gather to pray here during major yatra ( Pilgrimage ) in the month of June-July ( Ashadh ) every year .

Lord Vithoba is the form of Lord Krishna.

Started my Journey from Mumbai boarding train from Dadar Station ( Central ) at 23:00hrs

Boarded Train 12115/Siddheshwar SF Express and got down at

Kurduvadi railway station,

we reached Kurduwadi next day at around 5:30 hrs in the morning. We met our friends relative there who helped us get refreshed . Kuduvadi is mainly know for narrow gauge workshop. A branch rialway lines takes off from Kuruwadi connecting Osmanabad and Latur towards east and pandarpur and Miraj towrads South-West.

From there we again began our jorny in the passenger train that starts from kurduwadi and ends at Pandharpur railway station. Trian leaves station at 11:30hrs

Then from station we hired horse cart ( Tanga ) which leads us to the Pandharpur Mandir.

Before going in for the darshan we took bath in the holy river ChandraBhaga ( Bhima ),

Before entering the temple all must deposit there mobiles and camera and stuff at the flower vendor or to the shop who will chrage some minimal amount ot keep them safe , since no extra belongings like bag, camera,phones, food ,ect is allowed inside the temple.

Photography insde temple is not allowed . The experience here in the mandir is indescribable, the architect of the temple is breath taking it has got perfect vents and is made up of stones, one will never feel heat inside temple. Even the old homes aroound are made up of such stone, they don't need an A C. :)

From there we headed towrds another mandir , Theme Mandir where they say they have Chattish koti Dev ( 36 crore Gods )
